Our client is looking for Paediatrician to work with the Child at Risk Health Unit (CARHU), this is a specialist health focused service for children whom have been abused/neglected.
The role of the Paediatrician is to provide paediatric assessments including forensic assessment to children whom have been abused and/or neglected as well as consultation and community education on the health impacts of child abuse. The position requires the participation on an after hours on-call roster.
Our client is an acute care teaching hospital of approximately 600 beds, and a tertiary referral centre that provides a broad range of specialist services to the people of the region.
You will be working in the principal teaching hospital of the Australian National University (ANU) Medical School - the London Times newspaper ranked ANU as the 16th best university in the world in its 2006.
The city offers a relaxed lifestyle in a community that is very sociable and friendly, this is a unique part of Australia that will keep you stimulated.

Eligibility/Other Requirement: Registered or eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Agency, and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Division of Paediatrics and Child Health or an equivalent higher specialist qualification.
